Acer palmatum
Ao kanzashi refers to a green (or blue green) ornamental hairpin. In the Spring, narrow lobed mid green leaves appear with a purplish border that quickly ages into a lighter green edge. The edges are irregularly toothed, not unlike a greener version of Butterfly.
