Acer palmatum
Taiyo Nishiki stands next to a beautiful Vitifolium near the patio. Depending on how strongly I prune in late Fall or early Spring, Taiyo Nishiki dazzles with large amounts of chartreuse, true yellow, green, and an occasional white fleck or two. I've seen trees that look more like Oridono Nishiki, and am quite convinced this is not the variety I have, or perhaps reverted. Taiyo Nishiki has a somewhat paler much smaller leaf generally.. it can be very showy to see the yellow adjacent to the pink.
