About

The name translates to the yellow green brocade. Also known and seen as Seicha and Seicha Nishiki. Reportedly, this may have variegation in Spring, but if so, can be subtle. One collector explained to me that the variegation is in Fall with soft sprinkles of red in the gold leaf. For Maple Hill, it is a stunning variability of golds, with a little orange and red if late Summer has been hot and dry. Situated on the original sight line on Maple Hill, it is a treasure.
