Mure Hibare

Acer palmatum

About

Mure Hibari or Hibare translates to a flock of skylarks. For me, I can see that, as the feathery leaves dance in the breeze as if flying. The leaves themselves have a feathery appearance to me, edged with a little red edge as they emerge. The edges are scalloped adding to the airy delicate show. This isn't a dwarf variety, but certainly not fast either.
