Acer palmatum
A seedling found by breeder and Professor Jim Baggett of Oregon. Smallish crinkly leaves reminiscent of Shishigashira stick close and tight to the branches. Reported to have a slow to moderate growth rate, but my young plant is definitely slow. Leaves are a nice yellow in Fall. There is also a resemblance to cultivars like Mama, where the leaves are a tad irregularly shaped.
