Variegata

Dark green leaves of this North American native are primarily sand dusted (sunago fu) with gold. Occasionally the dusting coalesces into larger areas. In the Fall, a riot of color ensues including hard to find pinks and soft yellow. A great addition texture and color wise to Japanese maples. Bark becomes corky over time, also adding to Winter interest.
