Acer
Less well known than Acer shirasawanum Aureum, the palmatum namesake has warm yellow to gold glowing foliage in Spring with red and orange Fall colors. This one is sometimes a bit tough to site, not grow. The sun gives it nice color, but shade prolongs and lengthens the color display. Consider sitting where this receives kisses of sun in the morning, but overhead and evening shade to protect the colors.
