Piedmont azalea

Beautiful deciduous native azalea with clusters of heavenly fragrant pale pink blooms. Open habit as the plant matures. One of the happiest Springs I remember is of a cluster of three of these all in bloom tucked nearby the shade garden in Middlesboro. There is nothing quite like the smell - it drifts through larger areas.
