Acer palmatum
This plant is a beautiful, more deep purple red variety similar to Trompenburg with rolled edge lobes. To me, this is a very well behaved and shaped tree. After some discussions with friends, I believe Hickory Hollow WB is in fact the correct name. This is not a witch's broom however.
