Ibo Nishiki

Ibo Nishiki means warty bark, but this really must be seen in person. The fissures in the bark are not deep, and have a somewhat circular pattern evenly dispersed through older portions of the trunk. Fall colors vary, but are typically darker oranges and reds. I understand from bonsai enthusiasts that this is popular for that application, but it makes a very nice small landscape focal as well.
