This was a sister seedling to Marmor Star. This particular variety gets pink and white speckled variegation, whereas Marmor Star has only white. Both are variable year to year and amount of variegation. Container growing and limiting nutrients produces better and more consistent color. Sometimes, if I am lucky enough to get a second flush of growth, that has a lot more color. I intend as my plants mature to try the shearing method to encourage more color, and see if that does in fact bring better color.
