Gleditsia triacanthos
This rare gem is a thornless and fruitless selection of honey locust. The foliage habit is sort of like a rounded pin cushion or tuft of leaves. I'm time, this reportedly can grow to 3' x 3' in many years. The Dawe's Arboretum describes this variety as "commercially extinct."
